I've never had such a great experience at an auto mechanic shop. Brian, the owner, personally returned my call to discuss what I needed to get done and suggested I bring the car in just to make sure there were no underlying issues. Adnan, the Service Manager, took the time to explain the issues found and prioritized them in order of importance. Unlike many other auto mechanics, he didn't try to push and have me spend money unnecessarily. Their prices are reasonable, although auto repairs always tend to be pricey -- but I thought the cost was great in comparison to other estimates I had received. I would definitely go back to Nerger's and highly recommend to anyone I know.

I've ALWAYS received excellent service from Brian and his staff, including a very quick flat-tire repair about 1 1/2 months ago (just encountered a nail lying in the wrong place). Just a very reliable place to do business with!

I have ever seen a auto repair shop that provides more customer service than Nerger’s. The mechanics are very professional. They might be a little pricy but definitely took care on mi Audi A4 2008. It was taken to 4 different paces including Pep boys and Nerger’s got to fix my service light engine due to a problem on the thermostat, Pepboys took about 2 days to give a “nothing is wrong with your car” diagnose, Nerger’s took a few minutes to tell me what was wrong with it. They keep you updated through out the process and follow up after fixing your vehicle. Thanks Nerger’s, have to go back to get new tires installed soon. .- Angel Frias

Nergers has been our car repair place for more than ten years. They will work until they find the source of car problems and then are very good at fixing the car. A short drive with Brian often pinpoints the problem when there is an associated noise. When we get an oil change, the car is also checked to make sure it is safe. When we have had a sudden serious problem, they have been willing to work on the car immediately. A ride home has been offered many times. Brian, Adnan, and Melissa (on the front desk) are very courteous and informative.

Yesterday my brother-in-law brought my sister's car in for brake service. He was very nervous about taking his car to a service shop even though I've been telling him about this place for years; he usually does minor repairs himself and basically doesn't trust service shops. Well, after picking up the car he came home a very happy camper. He was more than satisfied with the service and I, of course, am so happy that he was happy with my recommendation! Nerger's is the BEST!

I brought my old car to them for a very minor job. When the mechanic pulled my car in, he noticed my brakes were grinding and suggested I fix it before it becomes a bigger problem. So he fixed both and only charged me for the brakes. There were lots of things wrong with my car but he didn't try to push any other jobs on me because I had already told him I was getting rid of it soon. So then I bought a used car and they offer a thorough check over for new used cars for $135. I got that done and their master technician showed me everything that they thought could use a repair. I thought the prices were a little high, but so is everything in NJ (I'm from out of state where everything is less expensive and still not used to inflated jersey prices). But anyway, he didn't make it sound like it all needed to be done right now, but rather that I had options and made suggestions on what would be the most important jobs. Their staff is really helpful and they even offer rides to get you to or from work if you're dropping off your car with them. And they incentivize referring new customers with coupons. Really friendly people, knowledgable, and helpful. Highly recommend.

i would pay an extra $10-20 dollars just for their kind and professional service. You don't see services like this nowadays.

I hit a pot hole which caused a cracked on the radiator. I brought my car for repairs to another shop in which they charged 109.67 just to look at it (supposed diagnose) their hourly rate, nothing was mentioned when I first walked in, then they told me about the posting they have which you don't see unless you actually in the seating area. I called trying to see if they can do a better price but no luck, you can sense when they don't want to help. So I called Nerger's, and explained the situation to the Service Manager (Adnan Rashid), he was very pleasant and tried his best to help anyway possible without cutting corners. I ended up getting the car towed to Nerger's if I have done that in the first place I would have saved $180. Adnan took his time and in detail explained what was done to the car and what needed to be done in the future. I felt no pressure whatsoever. I will definitely go back to them, like he said "no surprises on the bill" Their service was EXCELLENT.
