Hands down absolutely the best auto care place to go to in central NJ. I can honestly say I will commute from a distance should I move out of the central NJ to have my cars serviced at Nerger's. I had a Volkswagen with a pretty messed up transmission. I feared the worst knowing that foreign cars repairs can get quite ugly. Throughout the entire process Brian, the owner, and the rest of his staff kept me updated and well informed each step of the repair process. They were extremely friendly and available for any questions when asked. Also, their pick-up/drop-off service is EXTREMELY useful and is provided at no cost. Good luck finding another place willing to provide this service for free at your convenience! When my repair was completed not only was I FLOORED at how extremely fair the pricing was, but my car drives BETTER than it ever did. Excellent auto care service I highly recommend to anybody in the area, and even if you are not, it is absolutely worth an extra couple mile drive. They are experts, and honest with their work. I've rambled on enough, but Nerger's absolutely has a lifetime customer in me.

I must say I am always skeptical of used car dealerships but not this one! I stopped in to check out a 2003 Nissan 350z. From the minute I walked in I was given honest responses. I had already gotten approved by a financial company before I had come by. The sales manager Daniel helped me from start to finish. When it came time to sign off on the vehicle my financial company decided to bail and declined the loan right then and there. So i put a deposit on the vehicle just to buy me more time to try and find another way to buy this car. Well, to my surprise, Daniel had called up and told me that he had been working all day to find me a car loan and he did! No other dealership would go out of their way to get someone a loan in this situation. Daniel is an outstanding guy who deserves all the credit he can get. It is really nice to know that there are still good people out there like Daniel. I highly recommend purchasing vehicles from Nerger's auto

I have never had a worse experience in my life. I left my car with them and it took them over a month to put a different engine in my car. I got it back finally a month ago roughly and the motor they put in was hardly running. I barely made it home. The stole my amp out of my car for my speakers. Didn't put the plastic cover to my radiator back and kept it I guess. The engine was the dirtiest grimiest laziest thing I have ever seen. It was worse than the engine they took out. Didn't supply with documents on it and its still a problem. Going on two months my car has been gone now and still to this day I have had to call to check up myself every single time. Every time. Every time Adnan said he was going to call me to follow up he hasn't once yet done. I am BAFFLED by all of the good reviews. Makes no sense to me. The decided to charge me for an exhaust flange which I didn't need and when I got the car back the first time the exhaust was actually hanging out not more secure. My trans was slipping and wasn't before I gave it to them. They put my hood on wrong and didn't align it equally so there was too much gap in the front. There was a loose unused hose just sitting inside the intake manifold area. Every step of the process has been pulling teeth. Spent over a thousand dollars more than the other places that quoted me for the job and they said three days to a WEEK TOTAL. Its been two months and all the other issues. I sent an email to Brian merger and never even got a response never even got acknowledged that I sent it until I had to show up the next day and actually probe for an answer. I've been without my car all this time and it is affecting getting to work, use of someone else's vehicle, and they didn't even to move a single but or bolt to check on the integrity of the last motor they put in but yet I still had to pay 2100$ for the services. Over priced everything. Empty promises. No follow up calls whatsoever. Brian called me ONE time after I complained about not getting called back for a month. Not accredited by BBB FYI!!! AAA rating is worthless as far as I can tell. Either they like to take advantage of young 20somethings because they think I'm stupid, or they have absolutely no idea what they are doing and zero organization. I told them I wanted the expensive spark plugs a had in my motor already installed 5 left three in my car too hard to get to on the motor for me. Asked them to remove all eight and put in new motor. They didn't. And I only found that out because I found the remaining three still in my car the first time I brought it back home the first time. Not to mention Adnan bragged to me five times how they washed my car and had detailers go over it inside and out. Meanwhile I vacuumed the entire inside before they got it. They didn't wash the car they left it on the street and I found found and food sauce was thrown all over the exterior of my car all stuck to the paint rice etc all over every crevice. Couldn't even get it off. And two months later still not a single call. They actually succeeded in making my car worse off than when I brought it to them. Any ideas are welcome on what I should do.

Brian Nerger and his staff are excellent and very courteous. They took very good care of me a week ago and now my car is in great shape for weekend trips. Brian sees a small problem and gets it fixed; if there is a major problem, he gets that fixed before there could be a disaster. Everyone there is so helpful.

Thanks to the crew at Nerger's…did a great job with service and were upfront and honest about the work they were doing. They put aside another job to get my car taken care of that day and did the work on time as promised. Had a question about the car the next day and the mechanic who worked on the car came with me for a test drive and even showed me the older part that was very worn and would have likely caused MORE problems if they didn't fix it. Not many places would take the time to do that. Thanks for the great service!

They will use your car as a loaner car. If you bring your car in for repair, or worse yet on consignment, they will allow their people to drive it around under the guise of a 'road test'. These people put over 80 miles on my car without my permission...which is far more than anyone would need to test something. This place is a giant, fraudulent scam-shop.

Nergers is racist there owner reminds me of Donald sterling. They wanted me to pay $700 for a tow that cost $120 if you support this store your supporting racism. God Bless

The team at Nerger's Auto Express is wonderful. They installed a bicycle hitch to my wife's new Subaru Outback. It was my first visit and the reviews are true. They were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. The final cost was under the price initially quoted. Adnan and Brian provided me with a desk to remotely work with my laptop during the day as I was waiting for the installation to be completed. A nice clean job. It is fair to say that I will be a returning customer for my other automotive needs. Thanks guys.

Best auto shop in central jersey area. Always a pleasant experience, I never feel stupid or taken advantage of, which I've felt in other auto shops in the past. Adnan, the service parts manager, is a customer service guru and is always sympathetic and kind. The shop is clean, the staff are great, definitely stop in!
