Last week, my wife and I were up at the front counter as we always are, and I took a call from a woman who had never been to us before who couldn't get her car started. After she explained what was going on, it became apparent that unless someone went there and tinkered with it more, she wasn't going to be able to make it to the shop unless her car was towed. Upon hearing that, she became discouraged and said she called us because she heard we were good, but she couldn't afford to tow her car to us.
I genuinely felt for her, as I do all our clients. We valued the fact that she called us, so I told her not to worry, I'd be right over.
I took down her address, hopped in my own car, and drove over to her house to look at what she was dealing with. Luckily, I was able to get the car started in order to get it over to our shop. Even if it had to be towed, I would have worked something out with her. That's what we are all about. Fairness, compassion, and commitment. We got her car fixed, she was very appreciative, and I was happy that I could help somebody out. It was a win all around, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat, as I have done so many times before!
